National Field Operations Manager - Sales & Market Field Force
Market Recon is Canada's premier shopper marketing and education company. We help brands convert and build loyal consumers during the in-store purchase process. We are currently recruiting for outgoing individuals to join one of our high-profile clients, a mid-sized market leading CPG company as a National Field Operations Manager located in Vancouver or Toronto
This is a position that oversees our Canadian field operations. We are looking for someone who can bring consistency and effectiveness to our operations, along with new ideas to the table and see them through implementation. We are continuously improving and are looking for someone who strives for the same.
This job requires thinking ahead and managing a team of District Managers and Territory Sales & Marketing Representatives to ensure they are meeting the requirements of their positions. You will also coach this team to aid with their professional development and help hone their skills. You will be responsible for forecasting labour requirements and managing evolving needs and changes appropriately. Ability to tightly manage account budgets and supply purchases is critical.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Supervise and/or direct District Managers and Territory Sales & Marketing Representatives engaged in the delivery of Market Recon program for its client, a mid-sized market leading CPG company
Responsible for leading, directing, developing and mentoring the team’s work and appraising performance
Addressing complaints and resolving issues for clients, retail locations and TSMR’s
Estimating costs and negotiating prices for services, equipment and employees
Meeting with clients, potential clients and management to develop or refine plans for the project.
Must be able to write reports and effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, employees and customers.
The candidate will be responsible for the execution and oversight of multiple jobs simultaneously.
Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written, in both English and French
Education and Experience:
Experience with and thorough knowledge of marketing and sales organization and related activities.
Demonstrated ability to lead, direct, or supervise; working knowledge of operational and employee policies and procedures.
Experience compiling and preparing reports, schedules, and correspondence.
Experience reading and interpreting manuals, reports, charts, policies, and procedures.
Communicate and/or exchange information or instructions.
